Counselling offers us the time and space to pause, to slow down, to take a breath, and to reflect. It gives us the chance to explore ourselves and our lives in a profound way. We are all on a continuing journey of self-discovery, but sometimes we feel lost or overwhelmed or we get stuck and aren’t sure how to move forward. That's where therapy can help.
I believe that you have the capacity to uncover the answers you seek and the inner strengths that already reside within you. As a counsellor, my role is to act as a companion on your journey, and to walk by your side as you move toward growth and healing. Together we will build a therapeutic relationship that is rooted in compassion and trust, where you can explore transitions in your life, strong (and sometimes uncomfortable) feelings, relationships, and other areas where you may wish to make changes or attain greater clarity.
Therapy can help you gain awareness; manage emotions; relieve stress and anxiety; develop new coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and healthy behaviours; make decisions; improve relationships; and find new meaning and purpose in your life.
